Annual Events Held in Milwaukee

The city of Milwaukee is full of excitement, and that’s because there are so many fun events happening throughout the year. There is always something to do in this area, which makes it a great place to live or visit. Some annual events held in Milwaukee include:

Milwaukee Cremation Service

Milwaukee Brewfest – Held every summer at Veteran’s Park on Lake Drive, people come together for an awesome time filled with delicious beer! This festival brings out all types of beer lovers who enjoy sampling craft brews from around the world. People love tasting new creations while having their favorite beers within reach too! Brewers compete against each other by submitting secret recipes they think will be well received by attendees. Live music also fills up the streets during this event, making the atmosphere that much more fun!

Milwaukee Beer Barons – This event is held every year at State Fair Park in West Allis. People come from all over to participate and enjoy an evening filled with great beer, food trucks, live music, games and competitions! Brewers compete against one another by submitting secret recipes they think will be well received by attendees. Live music also fills up the streets during this event, making the atmosphere that much more fun for everyone involved!

Brew City Fest – During Memorial Day Weekend each year people gather in downtown Milwaukee for a weekend full of delicious brews as well as local eats and tasty treats. As Wisconsin’s only large-scale craft brewery festival there are plenty of beers to sample while enjoying free samples of local snacks. It is a great time to enjoy live music from bands that are sure to put on an awesome show!

National Pretzel Day – In celebration of National Pretzel Day, June 26th every year, there will be pretzel celebrations taking place all over the city. Bakers Square restaurants offer free samples as well as other specialty items you can purchase with your meal or by itself. Other events include: sample sales at Milwaukee area Baker’s Square stores and special deals on their menu items in honor of this delicious day!

Milwaukee Fringe Festival – This event is held annually at various venues throughout the city. It features a variety of different performance artists that represent local, regional and national talent! This festival brings people from all over together to enjoy live music, theater performances, comedy shows as well as other events surrounding this great area tradition.

Milwaukee Pride Parade – People come out for an exciting time during Milwaukee’s annual Gay Pride parade which takes place every year in mid-June. The streets are filled with dancers, floats representing community groups or businesses plus more fun entertainment than you can imagine! Festivities begin on Wells Street near Water St., travel up Old World Third St., then end along Wisconsin Ave.. There will be plenty of food available and everyone loves grabbing a snack before heading to their seat to watch the parade. It is a great time for everyone involved, and this event has become one of Milwaukee’s most popular annual traditions!

Milwaukee Greek Fest – Each year people flock to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Milwaukee for an amazing celebration filled with live music, delicious food as well as dance performances you are sure not to forget! This three-day festival brings out all types of attendees from those who love trying new foods while others come just for the fun atmosphere that fills up these streets during this exciting weekend.
